Happy Halloween!

I totally spaced baking any treats for Halloween, so last night I whipped up some peanut butter swirl brownies. These are a popular item and today was a good example! I set them out for my coworkers and there are only a few left, that's what I like to see!

I always enjoy baking brownies, they are quick and easy...and the batter is delicious!!

Happy Birthday Amy!

Yesterday was one of my best pals' birthdays. She had her traditional birthday dinner at Green. and requested that I make her a cheesecake and donuts. This girl knows her food!

I hadn't been to Green in quite some time so I started off with the hot wings and got the delicious green burger, no mayo of course. I cleaned my plates for sure.

I had to head home as I live in the boons now and had to be up early, but Amy and her pals headed out dancing. Amy reported back today that there is only one slice of the cheesecake left. That's what I like to hear! Happy Birthday Amy!!

A Few Updates

The Farm Sanctuary held an annual dinner party/auction in Mesa, AZ last week. They sold around 140 tickets when there was about 125 to be sold and raised around $8,000!! This is great news. Green catered this event so you know it was a delicious time. The Vegan Oven donated a gift certificate to the silent auction. The lucky winner can have 2 dozen of their choice of cinnamon rolls, cookies or cupcakes. Can't wait to see what they choose!

Next week is one of my best pals' birthdays, Amy. She will be receiving some yummy donuts and a cheesecake. Good choices Amy!!

Last night I decided to make some chocolate cookies. Mostly because I was craving cookie dough, but I also wanted to get a picture for one of my good friends in France. Some of you have heard of Antistars Skateboards. I'm a big supporter of them as well as they are of The Vegan Oven.

I will update with the Farm Sanctuary gift certificate and Amy's treats soon!
